We’re excited to announce the upcoming launch of our new therapeutic center, opening in mid-September 2025. Our mission is to provide compassionate, inclusive, and evidence-based care to children, families, and the broader community—and we’re looking for dedicated professionals to help us bring this vision to life.  We’ll begin the hiring process now, with onboarding in late August, and training scheduled ahead of our tentative opening date of September 15th.  To apply please fill out our job application . Family Education & Training (EFT) – Family Support Specialist

We are looking for empathetic and knowledgeable Family Support Specialists to provide individualized coaching and training to parents and caregivers. This role is vital in helping families build confidence and competence in supporting their child’s progress.  Responsibilities:  Conduct family assessments and develop tailored training sessions. Facilitate individual or group-based workshops focused on parenting strategies and child development. Empower caregivers to implement therapeutic techniques at home. Offer resources and emotional support in navigating services. Maintain communication with clinicians to ensure cohesive support.  Qualifications:  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Family Studies, or related field. Law Enforcement Education (LEE) – Autism & Crisis Response Trainer

We’re hiring a specialized trainer to lead Autism Awareness and Response Training for law enforcement officers and first responders. This role involves scenario-based instruction designed to improve communication, de-escalation, and response techniques when interacting with individuals on the Autism Spectrum.  Responsibilities:  Develop and deliver training curriculum based on best practices in autism and crisis response. Facilitate scenario-based learning experiences for officers and first responders. Educate participants on behavioral cues, sensory sensitivities, and effective communication strategies. Advocacy & Brokering – Family Resource & Advocacy Coordinator

We are seeking a Family Resource & Advocacy Coordinator to assist families in navigating complex systems, including education, healthcare, and financial supports. This role is crucial in empowering families to access services, understand their rights, and make informed decisions.  Responsibilities:  Provide one-on-one support to families navigating IEPs, insurance, service eligibility, and other systems. Offer guidance on available community resources, grants, and supports. Help families understand and complete necessary documentation for access to services. Grant Writer 

This role applies to both the Blooming Bridges Foundation and Atypical Family Therapy, offering unique opportunities to contribute across both organizations. 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Transition Support Location: [Remote or Location-Based] Employment Type: [Contract / Part-Time / Full-Time – as applicable] Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Grant Writer to support our organization’s transition to 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of nonprofit development, experience with grant research and writing, and a proven track record of securing funding for nonprofit organizations. This role is instrumental in laying the financial and strategic groundwork for our new nonprofit entity, including identifying funding opportunities and drafting compelling grant proposals. Key Responsibilities: 

501(c)(3) Formation Support:

  • Assist with the process of incorporating the business as a nonprofit organization.
  • Collaborate with legal and strategic teams to prepare necessary IRS documentation and narrative portions of Form 1023 (Application for Recognition of Exemption).
  •  Help define mission, vision, and core programming aligned with IRS nonprofit requirements. 

Grant Research & Strategy:

  • Identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies that align with the organization’s mission.     
  •  Develop a funding strategy and grants calendar that supports organizational goals. 

Grant Writing & Submission:

  •  Draft compelling, tailored proposals and letters of inquiry.     
  •  Compile supporting documents, budgets, and organizational information required for submissions.     
  • Edit and revise proposals in response to feedback from stakeholders or funders. 

Relationship Building & Reporting:

  • Communicate with funders and grant-making agencies as needed to clarify requirements and maintain good standing.     
  •  Track grant deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements.     
  • Support the development of outcome measurement tools and data collection strategies for reporting purposes.

 Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience writing successful grant proposals for nonprofit organizations.
  • Knowledge of the 501(c)(3) application process and IRS requirements.
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using grant databases and research tools (e.g., Foundation Directory, Grants.gov) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit budgeting and program development.

Preferred: 

  • Degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Experience working with early-stage nonprofits or helping businesses transition to nonprofit status.

Graphic Designer/Social Media Manager

This unique role combines visual storytelling with digital strategy, offering the opportunity to shape and grow our brand presence across platforms.  Key Responsibilities Graphic Design:  Design marketing materials including flyers, brochures, digital ads, and more. Create and maintain brand identity assets such as logos and brand guides. Design engaging content for web and social media: infographics, animations, short videos, etc. Collaborate with internal teams to develop concepts and execute campaigns. Social Media Management:  Manage day-to-day operations of all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.). Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across channels. Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and nurture community growth. Track analytics, generate performance reports, and adjust strategies as needed. Stay up to date with industry trends and platform updates. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in graphic design and/or social media management (internship or freelance experience counts). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva. Strong understanding of social media platforms and scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.). Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines. Bonus: Experience with video editing, paid ads (Meta/TikTok), SEO, or email marketing tools.
